The members are the ones who fund the The Danish Church in London. As the Church does not receive any direct financial support like the churches in Denmark (Folkekirken) from the Danish state.

Staff salaries, operating costs and maintenance are funded primarily through regular membership subscriptions, followed by donations, fundraising and advertising revenue.

The Danish Church in London is part of DKIU. The minister and church secretary receive partial salary funding through the organisation.

DKIU appoints and sends ministers to serve Danes and people of Danish background who live or travel outside Denmark. Rooted in the Evangelical Lutheran tradition, its churches provide both pastoral care and a sense of cultural community for Danes around the world.
