Improve your Danish
 
From September till May children (from 4 years) come for classes every other Saturday. In the meantime the parents can read Danish newspapers in the Churchhall or chat with other parents while having a cup of coffee. The children are divided into groups according to age and language level.

The teaching takes place in a rather informal manner. The volunteer teachers are all experienced and some of them formally trained teachers. The Saturday School is a language school where the emphasis is on the Danish language and culture. A fund has been created to make it possible for one child from the Saturday School to attend the Danish Summer School every year. The Saturday School also offer Danish classes for adults.

In order to attend the Saturday School your child must be covered by a family membership of the Danish Church, but the classes are non-devotional. You can sign up for a membership here. The tuition fee for a full season is £ 50 per child or £ 30 per child when several siblings attend at the same time.
