Young Danes, who live here and who are approximately 14 years of age, can be confirmed in the Danish Church. In order to be confirmed you must have been baptized, have attended the confirmation preparation as well as a certain number of Sunday Services. If you are not baptized, this can be part of the preparation.
For Confirmation on Palmsunday 13 April 2014 we invite you to an introduction day on Sunday 15 September at 9.30am at the Danish Church. Here you can register and attend the Sunday Service. You will need to bring your Christening Certificate. The price for the Confirmation preparation is £ 150 all-inclusive.
We expect the family to be member of The Danish Church in London
Since many of the candidates for confirmation live far from the church, we compress the preparatory sessions on a limited number of Sunday mornings. We meet at 9.30am for the preparation and continue with the Sunday Service at 11am. During the year we also meet for two weekends with a sleepover at the church.
